Islam is the religion of god. It contains the code of life, which Allah, the Greater and Lord of the Universe, has revealed for the guidance of mankind. The source from which all principles and injunctions of Islam rae drawn is hte Holy Book, the ''Holy Quran''. This book was revealed to the Last Prophet sent by God, Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h).
The Quran is a comprehensive code of life covering each and every aspects and of life. This Book lays down the best rules relating to social life, commerce, economy,marriage,inheritance,penal laws and conduct with others etc.
Quran has been called a "Reminder", because the same message was sent before also through other Prophets. it is for this only, that God took upon Himself to guarantee that htis is His last Book to be revealed and that the words it contains can never be tampered with, by man and would retain its prestine purity for all time. since this has been assured by God, there is logically no need for mankind to have any more Prophets or books.

Nothing of the Holy Quran has changed since its revealation, nor an iota of it can be changed ever. It is a miraculous thing that thousand of Huffaz
(those who memorize the Holy Quran) can recite the entire Holy Quran by heart. A Hafiz from any part of the world would recite exactly the same text without any variation of even a dot.
the Holy Quran is also called "AL-FURQAN", because it diffrentiates the Haq(truth) from Batil (false). it brings man out of the darkness and into the light and also guides man's steps to the right path.
we have Quran to give us guidance, so we should recite it daily and try to understand whta it teaches. May Allah help us and guide us in doing this.
